2. Request for a temporary suspension at any DSTV service centre. Remember to take a valid ID card with you. 
3. Place your suspension request through the DStv WhatsApp support service: +2349082368533.

Note that you can only suspend your account for 7 – 14 days, twice in a year. 

Your subscription must have been active for at least 7 days from your payment before you can apply for suspension.

The suspension request must be made at least two (2) working days from when you would like it to take effect.

B. Disconnection

With this option, your subscription package is disconnected and forgotten. 

To disconnect, head to the DStv Nigeria website or MyDStv App and click “My Products.” Select your subscription package and click on “Disconnect.” Finally, schedule the date from which you would like the disconnection to take effect.

How to Unblock DStv Subscription & Packages 

If you suspend your account, you do not need to apply for reconnection. DStv will automatically reconnect your account once the suspension time lapses.

You can upgrade your DStv subscription in the middle or at the end of an existing package.
